Testimonials

“We began our design process with the idea of constructing a traditional New England home; comfortable, sturdy and inviting with antique brick & cedar shingles nestled among mature trees for a timeless appeal that would differ from the new construction of the area.
We really liked two homes that had been built around us, that seemed to be unique yet traditional.  We learned that they were both designed by the same architect and being built by the same builder – which lead us to Stillwater Builders.

We were relieved to find out that the staff could be contacted anytime night or day via cell phone or e-mail if there were any questions or concerns that we wanted to address.
The key to the success of our building process was how well Stillwater worked with our architect, our designer and with us as a design team of equals.   Stillwater Builders understand the importance of being client oriented; they know that a happy customer today means future customers tomorrow.

We absolutely love the way our home turned out, and have already referred many people we know to have Stillwater Builders construct their dream home”

Mr. & Mrs. Van Brunt,

“We first used Stillwater Builders in 1996 to remodel a home that we purchased in West University.  Our biggest fear in working with a custom builder was the possibility that we would go over-budget or that our project would not be completed on schedule.  We were extremely satisfied with the finished product and the effort taken to keep things on track and running smoothly.
Over the years Stillwater has remodeled two kitchens for us, built a media room, remodeled numerous bathrooms and helped with routine maintenance issues around the house.  Aaron is even more of a perfectionist than I am - I can remember him redoing things that were not done to his satisfaction even though I was happy with the way it looked.
Last year I was remodeling a house that we were going to sell.  I was under a time crunch, and couldn’t wait for Stillwater to finish their current project, so I used another company.  It was a disaster! Every nightmare story you hear about happened to us - including a leaking pipe, destroyed ceiling, and damage to new wood floors.   We didn’t get the house on the market for months, and lost a large amount of profit.  This experience reaffirmed my faith in Stillwater Builders and I will never use anyone else again.”

Dan & Jennifer Pickering,

“We found the neighborhood we loved, and chose to use Stillwater Builders to construct our home based on the quality of work we witnessed from their previous projects.
The staff is extremely helpful and detail oriented.  They were suggestive when we needed ideas, willing to listen when we had concerns and patient while we made decisions.  I don't think I could have found another builder that would put as much time and pride into their work as Stillwater Builders did with building our home.

The level of communication provided by Stillwater Builders was excellent.  Everyone on site was easy to get in touch with and responded immediately to ease our apprehension.  We were always notified if something needed to be changed, and if we couldn’t determine what we wanted, we felt 100% confident in Aaron making the decision for us.”

Matthew & Yvette St. Laurent,

“We were referred to Stillwater Builders by our architect, and decided to hire them based on their competitive pricing, professionalism, and meticulous organization.
Building our home was a wonderful experience.  I was very relieved to find that the employees at Stillwater Builders advocate open communication, and they were readily available when I needed to contact them; they were always receptive to our concerns and feedback.  We were included on the decision making with every project, and were advised ahead of time about selections that were coming our way so we had time to plan for them.
I love my home and wake up every day amazed at how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place – it’s perfect for our family!   I will continue to refer my friends & relatives to Stillwater Builders.”
